If you don’t have time to complete the entire trail, or you just love selfies, then take a photo with one of the soldiers and post on social media with the #worthingsoldier. The most innovative and fun post, as decided by our judges, will receive cordless headphones and a sweet hamper.
The Toy Soldiers will be on parade from Wednesday 2nd December. To be included in the draw entries must be received by 9am on 23rd December. The prize draw will take place 23rd December and if the winners are located within 5 miles of Worthing the prize will be delivered in time for Christmas.

Coronavirus Update
As you will be aware the Government has closed all non essential shops and asked people to stay at home. We know that there are still essential shops open in the Town Centre including M&S Foods, Boots Pharmacy, Superdrug, Savers, Poundland, Wilko’s, WH Smith with the Post Office, Tesco Express and the Banks. Convenience, Hardware and Laundrettes will also be open. Please adhere to Government guidelines and only come into town for essentials …. if everyone does what is asked of them the quicker restrictions will be lifted and all our wonderful Town Centre businesses can re-open. Your businesses will need you when restrictions are lifted so please support them when you are able.
Don’t forget some businesses are offering deliveries and takeout services during these difficult times and they would love your support if you can.
Finally everyone would like to say a massive thank you to all those in our NHS, Emergency Services, Essential businesses and Public Services who are doing so much during these difficult times.
Coronavirus
The globe is in the midst of a pandemic and the self isolation and social distancing currently in place is putting a lot of pressure on businesses. It is important to support your Town Centre businesses where you can so they can still be there for all of us when the situation improves. Remember these businesses employ hundreds of people and it may be your neighbours, friends or families jobs you are protecting.
Many businesses have launched Takeaway and Delivery menus which are great for those social distancing. Many can also be used by those in self isolation but please ensure the Restaurant is aware of the situation.
We have pulled together a list of businesses offering something new and plan to update this weekly during the crisis. Please note this is in addition to those already offering deliveries before the Coronavirus pandemic took hold.
