Now in its 4th Year the Worthing International Birdman competition will be flying again from Worthing Pier over the weekend of 13th / 14th August.

On Saturday 13th August come along between 11.35am and 1pm to see the serious competitors have the first opportunity to fly 100m and the Jackpot prize of £10,000 .  Following the flying there will be 3 Freestyle Jet Ski Displays featuring the World Champion Ant Burgess at approximately 1.20pm, 3.10pm and 4.30pm.  There will also be singers on the Beach Stage and at 1.45 watch Shark Tale our Free Movie on the Beach.

On Sunday 14th August the flying starts at 12.00pm starting with the crazy fun flyers who will be launching from the 35 ft platform whilst raising money for charity; the serious competitors will follow with their second attempt at the Jackpot.  Flying will finish around 2pm and then watch some of the contestants from the Worthing Idol final, and some other singers and Dancers.  Our Freestyle Jetski Display team will be back in action at approximately 2.20pm, 3.40pm and 4.45pm.

Please be aware the best area to view the flying and Jet Ski Displays is on the Beach between the Pier and the Lido, the West Side of the Pier is closed to the public over the weekend.
