Recent research undertaken by CACI identified that Worthing has a retail catchment of 593,428 and that given the correct promotion and activities in the Town Centre shoppers will come from as far away as Horsham to shop in Worthing.

The CACI statistics also showed that £362 million is spent each year in Worthing shops equating to an annual spend of £8,591 per household.

Worthing has a camera outside M&S that captures the number of shoppers in the Town Centre each day. This camera has been in place for over 3 years and the monthly footfall from 2004-2006 is as follows:-

Following the continued success of the Ice Rink it has been booked to return from 5th February to 6th March 2011.
