The Countdown to Christmas started on 28th November 2009 when Worthing hosted its Christmas Event in partnership with Heart FM. Thousands came down to meet the breakfast presenters Tom, Lynsey and Jack from Heart Breakfast as well as the stars from this years Panto's. Pip and Pop the elves helped Santa to save Christmas and there were competitions and prizes galore. The lights are now sparkling and lighting up Worthing and the shops have lots of Christmas present ideas to help inspire.
This year the Royal Arcade at the junction of South Street and Montague Street will be the place to meet Santa and he will be making special appearances on Sunday 13th December, Saturday19th and Sunday 20th December from 11am - 4pm.
Worthing is a great place to shop and don't forget the Santa Express Park and Ride from Teville Gate every Saturday up until Christmas. At Teville Gate you can park all day for only £2 and then have a free bus ride down to the South end of South Street. If you want to park a little nearer to town then the Union Place Car Park offers great value at only £1 per hour for 3 hours and don't forget the fantastic on street parking prices in the West End of Worthing !!!

Worthing Ice Rink to Return in 2011.
Following the continued success of the Ice Rink it has been booked to return from 5th February to 6th March 2011.
Worthing International Birdman Competition
The Worthing Birdman Team would like to thank all the volunteers, sponsors and everyone involved to help make this a great event for Worthing. Special thanks to Viewpress, NJS Scaffolding, facemediagroup.co.uk, The Worthing Beach Office and to Worthing BSAC.
We would also like to thank all the competitors for some great flights and costumes and we look forward to seeing you again next year.

Open Meeting 10th March 2010
Thank You to all the BID levy payers who attended the BID Open Meeting at the Chatsworth Hotel on 10th March 2010. It was a very informative and constructive meeting and it was agreed that Open Meetings would be held every 6 months. Please Click Here to read the minutes of the meeting.
