The 2nd Worthing International Birdman event will be held off Worthing Pier on 22nd / 23rd August 2009. Flying will start at 12.30pm on Saturday 22nd August when the Condor and Leonardo competitors will have their first attempt at the 100m challenge distance and a chance to win £30,000. On Sunday 23rd August the serious competitors will be joined by the Kingfishers (fun flyers) and flying will start at 1.00pm. The public can chose their favourite kingfisher competitor by texting Birdman followed by a space and the number of the favourite flyer to 87222 (calls will cost 25p plus a standard text message - Click here for rules) for more information go to www.worthingbirdman.co.uk.

Worthing Ice Rink to Return in 2011.
Following the continued success of the Ice Rink it has been booked to return from 5th February to 6th March 2011.

Open Meeting 10th March 2010
Thank You to all the BID levy payers who attended the BID Open Meeting at the Chatsworth Hotel on 10th March 2010. It was a very informative and constructive meeting and it was agreed that Open Meetings would be held every 6 months. Please Click Here to read the minutes of the meeting.
