After a fantastic month of skating Worthing says farewell to the Ice Rink in Steyne Gardens. The last session finished at 9pm on Sunday 1st March when the final skaters hung up their skates !! Just 3 minutes later Ron Charbonneau completed his marathon 25 hour skateathon in aid of St Barnabas to rapturous applause and a well earned glass of champagne. The staff from Baseline had an impromptu snowball fight before the chillers were turned off to allow the ice to melt. Work is now underway to dismantle the rink which will take about 7 days. Roll on 2010 ......

Worthing Ice Rink to Return in 2011.
Following the continued success of the Ice Rink it has been booked to return from 5th February to 6th March 2011.
Worthing International Birdman Competition
The Worthing Birdman Team would like to thank all the volunteers, sponsors and everyone involved to help make this a great event for Worthing. Special thanks to Viewpress, NJS Scaffolding, facemediagroup.co.uk, The Worthing Beach Office and to Worthing BSAC.
We would also like to thank all the competitors for some great flights and costumes and we look forward to seeing you again next year.

Open Meeting 10th March 2010
Thank You to all the BID levy payers who attended the BID Open Meeting at the Chatsworth Hotel on 10th March 2010. It was a very informative and constructive meeting and it was agreed that Open Meetings would be held every 6 months. Please Click Here to read the minutes of the meeting.
