The Fire Brigade have helped Worthing to host its first ever real Ice Rink by providing 40,000 gallons of water to the rink. With only days to go until the rink is launched the Fire Brigade came along to help fill the rink with water so that it has time to freeze over the next few days. The Worthing Ice Rink will be in Steyne Gardens from 31st January 2009 to 1st March 2009 and it will open daily 10am to 9pm. To book a session call Worthing Theatres on 01903 206206 ....... Worthing Ice Rink to Return in 2011.
Following the continued success of the Ice Rink it has been booked to return from 5th February to 6th March 2011.
Worthing International Birdman Competition
The Worthing Birdman Team would like to thank all the volunteers, sponsors and everyone involved to help make this a great event for Worthing. Special thanks to Viewpress, NJS Scaffolding, facemediagroup.co.uk, The Worthing Beach Office and to Worthing BSAC.
We would also like to thank all the competitors for some great flights and costumes and we look forward to seeing you again next year.

Open Meeting 10th March 2010
Thank You to all the BID levy payers who attended the BID Open Meeting at the Chatsworth Hotel on 10th March 2010. It was a very informative and constructive meeting and it was agreed that Open Meetings would be held every 6 months. Please Click Here to read the minutes of the meeting.
