Bjorn the bear was a great hit with the shoppers in Worthing on Friday 19th December. Bjorn and his Innuit handler Ursula entertained with stories of the Arctic and a special opportunity to get up close to a life size animatronic Polar Bear. There have already been requests for Bjorn to return in 2009 so watch this space for updates

Worthing Ice Rink to Return in 2011.
Following the continued success of the Ice Rink it has been booked to return from 5th February to 6th March 2011.
Worthing International Birdman Competition
The Worthing Birdman Team would like to thank all the volunteers, sponsors and everyone involved to help make this a great event for Worthing. Special thanks to Viewpress, NJS Scaffolding, facemediagroup.co.uk, The Worthing Beach Office and to Worthing BSAC.
We would also like to thank all the competitors for some great flights and costumes and we look forward to seeing you again next year.

Open Meeting 10th March 2010
