Worthing Birdman - July 5th / 6th 2008
Saturday 5th July saw some fantastic flights from the Leonardo and Condor competitors. The results are as follows
Condor Class
1st Place Ron Freeman 85.9 m
2nd Place Steve Elkins 76.4 m
3rd Place Tony Hughes 69.1 m
4th Place Paul Fessi 49.1m
5th Place Dean Gunn 27.9m
Leonardo da Vinci Class
1st Place Bill Brooks 16.4m
2nd Place David Moore 6.6m
Longest in the Air Winner was Tony Hughes with 14.2 seconds
Unfortunately due to severe weather Sunday 6th July had to be cancelled but we are already planning the Worthing Birdman 2009.

Worthing Ice Rink to Return in 2011.
Following the continued success of the Ice Rink it has been booked to return from 5th February to 6th March 2011.
Worthing International Birdman Competition
The Worthing Birdman Team would like to thank all the volunteers, sponsors and everyone involved to help make this a great event for Worthing. Special thanks to Viewpress, NJS Scaffolding, facemediagroup.co.uk, The Worthing Beach Office and to Worthing BSAC.
We would also like to thank all the competitors for some great flights and costumes and we look forward to seeing you again next year.

Open Meeting 10th March 2010
Thank You to all the BID levy payers who attended the BID Open Meeting at the Chatsworth Hotel on 10th March 2010. It was a very informative and constructive meeting and it was agreed that Open Meetings would be held every 6 months. Please Click Here to read the minutes of the meeting.
