The Heroes Welcome scheme all started in Scarborough when a few local businesses, now over 500 strong and growing, grouped together in order to offer visiting service personnel special discounts. To find out more about the scheme click on :-

Worthing Town Centre Initiative has now signed up to the Heroes Welcome campaign to show support for British armed forces personnel. We are working with local businesses to offer discounts, service upgrades or special acknowledgement. Keep a  look out for places where they display the above logo. The campaign was launched in Worthing on 16th September 2011 by the Mayor of Worthing, Cllr Ann Barlow and Local MP Tim Loughton.

 

The scheme aims to provide a heroes welcome to the men and women of the British armed forces (including reserved forces) and veterans on production of an identification card.
