Worthing - A great place to shop and dine by the Sea
Worthing boasts over 400 retail stores in the Town Centre with a large number of major multiples alongside a strong independent retail offer. It is worth exploring the Town Centre to turn a shopping trip into a truly memorable experience.
There is an eclectic mix of places to eat providing a huge variety of dishes to tempt every palate. The thriving café culture and outside dining opportunities enable visitors and residents to enjoy Worthing's wonderful seaside location and temperate climate.
There is regular activity in the Town Centre including singing, dancing and speciality markets that add to the vibrancy and ambience of the Town. Every Wednesday Montague Street hosts the weekly general market, which attracts shoppers from miles around. Every fourth Saturday of the month local produce can be found in the heart of the Town at the popular Farmers Market held in South Street Square.
The Town Centre runs parallel to the seafront and it's just a few steps from the main shopping precinct onto the promenade. In Worthing it truly is shopping by the sea.

Birdman Flights Fully Booked
It’s now too late if you haven’t booked your flight from Worthing Pier at the Birdman competition this year as all the flights are full. In total there will be 48 brave aviators launching themselves from a specially constructed platform on Worthing Pier. Look Who's in Town - If you Love Dr Who then you will Love this event. The Daleks will be invading the Town Centre but don't be afraid because these ones are quite friendly.
Montague Street Clean
Montague Street will be having a deep clean week commencing 7th July ready for the summer holidays. Aquaforce will be removing chewing gum and deep cleaning Worthing's busiest street to ensure visitors to Worthing see our town at its best.
